Tulsa has some of the oldest housing in the metro. Midtown neighborhoods like Maple Ridge and Brookside have homes with wood siding, detailed trim, and many coats of old paint. South Tulsa has more brick and stucco homes from the 1970s through the 2000s. Older homes often need scraping, sanding, and wood repair before any new paint goes on. Apartment and office buildings also need careful scheduling around tenants.
